Tom
Generally logical, calm and sarcastic,
Tom would like to keep Marko's Fish Bar
running as a proper fish 'n' chip shop,
but knows this to be an impossible task
with George around, so instead of selling
chips he uses customers for his own
amusement, abusing them however he sees
fit. This is not to say he enjoys it, Tom
makes a point of hating everything he
ever has to do. Tom is alone in comic-world
as being able to break the fourth wall
and communicate with The Writer and The
Artist, something which he is not too
happy about.
George
Originally a bad employee of Marko, with
no one able to keep him in line George
now runs riot, he's hardly ever actually
in the shop, and when he is, he spends
his time causing havoc and generally
making life harder for Tom. George isn't
exactly stupid, but he does show an
unusual pattern of thought, and unlike
Tom, is never unhappy despite constantly
being assaulted by his coworker.
The Writer
A pseudo-intellectual, tries very hard to
hold a reasonable webcomic together,
unsuccessfully. He often tries to argue
with Tom and rarely wins.
The Artist
Infinitely more capable than The Writer,
although she is unable to get Tom to like
her, she has managed to get a begrudging
support from him, which is more than
anyone else has.
Little Tom
A stray cat caught by George. George pays
it very little attention, although likes
to play with it when it occurs to him.
Tom resents, and, officially, loathes
Little Tom. However, when George isn't
around has been known to play with it.
Don't let Little Tom's name fool you,
however, Little Tom is female.
Marko
Owner of Marko's Fish Bar, and criminal.
He has currently relocated himself to
Cuba to avoid legal action taken against
him. He left behind a lot of money inside
his shop, which Tom and George are
shamelessly wasting.
Marko's Fishbar
A small fish and chip shop, originally
used by Marko to launder money, which is
now being slowly destroyed by Tom and
George.
